The influencer and YouTuber known as Fofo Márquez has again captured attention this time due to photographs showing him bald and in a humiliating position in prison. These images, spread by journalist Antonio Nieto (Siete Letras), show Fofo Márquez kneeling while several guards cut his hair, leaving him completely shaved.
The photos were allegedly sent to Fofo's family with the aim of extorting his mother, although it has not been confirmed whether they were taken at the Texcoco Penitentiary, where he is serving his sentence, or at Barrientos, where it was reported that he had been beaten by guards previously.
These images have sparked great controversy on social media. While some consider it a "lesson" for Fofo Márquez, who used to boast about being untouchable due to his economic position and family support, others argue that they violate his human rights and expose him in an undignified manner.
Fofo Márquez was sentenced to 17 years in prison for attempted feminicide after being accused of assaulting a woman. Despite his family's influence, the recent images of his humiliation in prison seem to contradict the notion of impunity that had been created around him, demonstrating that he is finally facing the consequences of his actions.
